I'll be looking forward to these debates on TV3.

Presumably they'll show the debates in a prime time slot.

Could they have the guy from last night doing the tweets, but show a slideshow of Cassie pictures while he does it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 797 ✭✭✭eoinbn

O'Cuiv is well able for him in fairness. Poor Cassie wants to fire through the tweets and Vinnie keeps interrupting her to ask questions. I'm offering her my shoulder to cry on.

!! All O'Cuiv could reply with was-'Vincent, whatever you say is right'.

Why are FF getting so much airtime still. Their reign of terror is over. A new reign of terror is set to begin.

Jesus Alan shatter started to take the ring road on the answer.

Anyone notice on the intro to nightly news tonight tv3 mistakenly displayed an image of victor garber in place of Enda Kenny.

I dont understand why Enda couldnt even be coached and rehearsed through his answers, and then put him on.. It's predictable what Vincent is gonna ask.. He should get some of the PR people that the shinners had.. Gerry Adams used to have his answers down to a tee.. All Enda has to do is prepare his answers..

Are you sure .. they did that before, about 18 months ago.. they hardly did the same again ???

edit: actually sorry it was RTE Nuacht.. June 2010

To be perfectly honest, all FG have to do to win this election is keep Enda hidden and keep Richard Bruton, Leo and Michael Noonan out and about. There's no confusion, keep Enda hidden = win

Isn't ex Newstalk presenter Mark Mortell, a PR man for Enda Kenny?

Positive!! rewound it with the sky plus and all!! Defo him!! How they made the same mistake again I do not know!!

This is Browne at his worst tonight - making an argument based on having a chip on the shoulder about someone not turning up for his show, and letting Martin off the hook.

The show is still the best, but I hate this side of him.

There is a huge similarity though especially since Enda started using the Vidal Sassoon..

There is a lethargy about the show tonight.

None of the panellists are engaging with each other.

Only one hour to go.. It will seem like 4.30am if it keeps at this pace. .

Stephen Donnelly seems to be a wannabe Dan O'Brien.

I listened to Varadkar earlier tonight (with Miriam o' Callaghan) and he was adamant that the interest rate had to be significantly lower.
I've a lot of time for Varadkar and he's a great performer but i was asking myself "how are they going to do that?".
Especially when you hear just there that Honohan (someone you would think has Ireland's interest at heart) couldn't do any better.

Not saying they won't but I'd love to hear how these guys are going to get a reduced interest rate?

I saw a short trailer for 'The Eleventh Hour' on RTE TV tonight.

Said it was coming soon, daily election coverage and debate

Dara O'Brien (The guy who does the Magners League rugby, ex Setanta) did the voiceover, I suspect he is involved don't know any more.

Strange that RTE chose an identical name to a music show which ran earlier this year, but then they also thought 'The Daily Show' was an original name.

Bit of competition for Vincent, be interesting to see what it looks like.

Should we try the shinners plan, sure we are screwed anyway whats the worse that can happen.

Again a similarity.. This guy should be telling us exactly what he advised the civil servants, because by the look of it ALL the advice that the Government got from consultants was wrong. I'm sure he'll claim he gave good advice but that the Government ignored.... that way everybody's arse is covered..

Will the Elevnth Hour be on RTE2?

I think the daily election programme will be on at 12 midday.
