Athenry locality...

    Well currently, we have Airwire 1mb internet here.... Which reall isn't good enough =(

    Are there any other ISPs better in the Athenry area...

    and also, will eircom broadband ever be available here :/

    I lived in Athenry a few years back (Ballydavid south) and had 3mg DSL

    Where do you live ?

    broadband availability depends on which exchange your service is provided from. If you post your tel no. I can chk eircom broadband availability for you in the Athenry area. Alternativley you can dm me your details on Twitter at eircomconnect and will check this for you.

    Don't post telephone numbers or any personal details on an open forum. Not a good idea at all.

    You can check your phone number on eircom.ie anyway. www.broadbandatoz.ie lists exchanges that are to be updated, but no time frame.

    Absolutely true Jor el, security first. Link supplied also good site to chk on broadband availability. Athenry exch does appear to be enabled.
