    Hi,

Someone today said that the Italian in the village called Pistachios has closed. Has anyone heard or seen anything?

    Thanks

dropped over to the chippy under the restaurant and had a quick word, it didnt sound too good. They are certainly closed for the foreseeable future.

    real shame for the village.

Ah no, great food in there and excellent service, it was noticeable how much less busy it was in the last year or so though, it's very tough for lots of businesses at the moment. Eating out is one of the first things people cut back on when money gets tighter

We were going to go there next weekend for the wife's birthday :(

Yep very true, very hard to make ends meet in that business.

Hopefully they will be back when things pick up a little.

Well at least the chipper is pretty recession-proof :) feel bad for the staff though as there was a good team there. Hopefully it won't be long before it's back and as good as ever.
