Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone has any information/advice about this school? Infact any information regarding private primary schools on the south side. My partner and I are researching schools in the area and would love any help you can offer.

We are going to be new to the area and so have no local knowledge of the schools.

    Regards,

    Nat

    Hi there
I live in the area and Castle Park is a good school. parents seem vey happy with it. It has fabulous grounds and facilities....

As for other schools in the area, I have a lot of dealings with St Anne's Private School in Clarinda Park in Dun Laoghaire. Its a small school with extra caring staff. its like a small family. Classes are very small, I think 17 is the biggest number. The staff are young and very enthuasiastic and care a great deal about the children. The school has been there for years and acts as a sort of feeder school for Holy CHild secondary school in Killiney, which is just a fab girls school. The boys tend to go on to Blackrock college, Conleths and CBC monkstown, BOys tend to leave st annes in second class...

Othe schools in the area are Dalkey Educate together(DET) ( good too) Harold School in Glasthule ( great national school, hard to get into!) Lorreto Dalkey for the girls and CBC monkstown for the boys(both junior and senior school!) my boys go there! They are very happy there. Again, small classes, great teachers, average 20 per class. New senior school being built at the moment....

For CHurch of Ireland people there are schools too. While you can attend all the above schools, religion doenst matter in st annes nor DET, i know WYVERN is a school in Killiney. Again friends have kids there and are very happy! St andrews in booterstown good too

Hope this helps, what age kids? interests? etc? if i can be of any more help, let me knw,

I personally would go with St Annes for girls, CBC for boys and Harold National School for both together!

    Happy hunting!

    MG
