Hi all, Just booked ferry today to France. We are heading early this year (5th June) and I'm looking for recommendations for family sites down along the coast. We'd go down as far as Sables d'Olonne, but not very much further than that, little ones will only be 4 and 1. Even though its low season, are there any campsites…

Hi all,

Just booked ferry today to France. We are heading early this year (5th June) and I'm looking for recommendations for family sites down along the coast. We'd go down as far as Sables d'Olonne, but not very much further than that, little ones will only be 4 and 1.

Even though its low season, are there any campsites that would have entertainment at that time? We're sailing into Roscoff but back out of Cherbourg, so any sites along the way would be great.

www.camping-la-garangeoire.com worth considering, only negative is that it's about 10km form the coast. It's part of the www.camping-castels.co.uk chain and all their sites are very high spec.
Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez is well worth considering too, sites like www.camping-aux-ecureuils.com and http://www.solagogo.com are very family friendly.
