Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where would I get one of these?
    http://cgi.ebay.ie/2-Slot-Cover-Filler-PCI-ISA-AGP-Blanks-Screws-PC-Case_W0QQitemZ390138689360QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5ad613f750

What happened was I got a pci card which had usb 2.0 slots on it for my external drive to plug into(as it is faster with usb 2.0)?
So when I put that in I took off the pci slot cover.

My pc started turning off itself lately so I thought maybe the pci card I bought is loose and causing my pc to have problems so I've taken out the pci card today and am hoping for the best.

Anyway I lost the pci slot cover that was on it so need one of those?
At the moment there's an open gap where it used to be.

Where could I buy one in Ireland?
I imagine all pc's have these so they're hardly that hard to get on their own are they?

I'd take a trip to an electrical recycling centre and take one out of a dumped PC. Just bring along a selection of screwdrivers!

Degsie's suggestion is the way to go. The damned things are everywhere, just lift one from somewhere.

Why would you place it back?
It increases your pc cooling :), just kidding. Go to any pc service and ask them politely to give you one...

As for usb 2.0, the pci card and motherboard usb 2.0 works at the same speed, more latency on the pci card.
Your external hard drive is 2.0 so the maximum speed to any 2.0 slot is the same.
The only reason they are making pci is because of the more usb plugs it gives to pc, not the speed, unless one has older usb than 2.0.
