insurance question

    hey everyone,
    i just have a quick question for ye regarding insurance on a jeep! i have a jeep and im looking to insure in ireland but i also will be bringing it around mainland europe every few months too. does anybody know, how long i can have the jeep out of ireland as to not invalidate the insurance?? i heard some people say you can only bring it out for one month. but i also heard it varies between insurance companies. any help lads would be appreciated as i dont have a clue about these things! thanks!:)

    I think it will vary slightly from company to company. I rang quinn before about going to the UK for a week, they said I didn't even need to let them know if it was only a week or two, but any longer and I should probably inform them. I was looking at quotes recently and one of them (I think on 123.ie) said that they charge a fee (€50 I think) for travel around europe.
