Approx. Time Bike was Stolen: During last night (night of 13th Jan 2009)
Any distinguishing Features: Large Givi top box, very large Givi windscreen

Bike is almost always chained to a lamp post, but wasn't last night because I didn't have the right key with me. ALWAYS CHAIN YOUR BIKE TO SOMETHING SOLID!

Anybody got any advice for me? Reported it to Gardai, TPO insurance unfortunately.

/Edit - Woo hoo!! Bike recovered by Gardai in Blanch from cemetery in Mulhuddart (joyriders!). Some damage done but mostly fine. Picking it up tomorrow morning :-) Thanks for help!

Any distinguishing Features: Standard bike with full paniers as in picture.
Other information: Bike was locked. This was taken in broad daylight on a busy road.

Guards in Finglas were very helpful, but not much to go on. I received some info that it was stuck in mud in Dunsink tiphead. Went there 7.00 am this morning (Monday)with the local Gardai and recovery vehicle., but no sign of the bike.
Any info would be great thank you.

The Finglas bike robbers must have been on overtime on Sunday night QuickG coz I also had mine stolen in the area at around 1230am.

Bike was recovered the next day, thief crashed it. Gardai did an excellent job but said that wing mirrors are damaged and also the windshield is cracked. I can't get it yet as it is in Gannons Recovery Yard in Donabate waiting for a specialist team to fingerprint it. I'm most likely looking at a messed up ignition as it was messed up I'm told. Overall a very expensive experience, probably going to cost me at least 300 quid which is a pain in the arse when u are a student and not working :mad:

Approx. Time Bike was Stolen: Sunday 23nd of May 2010 : 12.30am approx
Any distinguishing Features: Bike was resprayed black. Found parts from around the locking mechanism which were smashed into.
Other information:It's a fairly unique bike not a lot of them around. All Aprilia stickers were removed. Any information would be great. Thanks.

Approx. Time Bike was Stolen: 10pm Fri 13th August 10.00
Any distinguishing Features: Large top box, front forks a bit rusty
Other information: Bike had a grand big chain around the back wheel, parked in the driveway, normally behind the car. Himself reckons he may have heard a van outside, but was out the back of the house so couldnt guarantee it.

Approx. Time Bike was Stolen: Bad on this one, between 8pm Fri and 8am Monday 23/08/2010
Any distinguishing Features: Dirty crack on the grey plastic kicker that your heel hits against. Also is missing the HONDA logo on the front between the handle bars.
Other information: It was stolen this time 2 years ago and recovered by the Gardai in scribblestown lane with a seized engine. Every panel was kicked off it.
Pictures for example only, the side one is probably fitting as they need to lift the front light off to get at the wiring.

Time Bike was Stolen: Just before midnight on 12/10/2010

Other information: The colours aren't too common. Other distinctive features are the gear indicator (small LED screen to the left of the clocks), small bar broken off the right footrest (you can see what bar I mean when looking at the left. It's underneath and stops the bike from going to low on corners) and the exhaust which isn't standard.

Suspected location: He's lead to believe it is stashed in Finglas/Blanchardstown/Cabra and possibly the surrounding areas. Most likely it is in a car park, apartments, undergrounds, housing estates and the likes.

Reward: €400 for information that leads to the recovery of the bike. (Obviously dependant on whether or not the bike is in a retrievable state).




Some of the robbers have recently been caught. However, the bike has not yet been recovered.

If people could keep their eye out for it in the Finglas/Blanchardstown/Cabra area, he'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Saw the cops loading a bike into their van during the week and asked if it was stolen. Turns out it was. Was a Kawasaki, reg 94 D 49425. If anyone knows whose it is it's in Tallaght.

Bike got nicked this morning from outside house in Castleknock this morning.
Garda coming off duty said they'd loaded it into a van when he arrived, he chased but lost them.

Appreciate it if you see it give me a shout.
Only one this colour I've seen with white wheels.

Dent in right side of fuel tank.
Only have it back after a crash in September, used it 3 times.

Hi Lads.
Came home from Cork this evening, to find my beloved Africa Twin...GONE.
98 KE 5488.
Taken From Barrington Court,Prosperous,Co Kildare.
Last night, 24/05/11, or this morning 25/05/11.
Her main distinguishing feature is that she is Green (with Orange flecks/ White mudgards) - Was a German bike originally- not many, if any this colour overhere.
Had an SHAD top box on (Black), and is fitted for the side panniers.

my fooking cbr 250 was lifted again

was lifted today between 2 and 11 pm, had a strong snake lock through the rear wheel.

i spent 9 hours on saturday taking the bike apart, cleaning it and putting it back together with new mirrors, new screen, new indicators, new fuel line etc.

Location Stolen From: Blanchardstown Coporate Park, Dublin 15
Approx. Time Bike was Stolen: Today (Jul 7th) at 3pm

4 guys in a car picked up the bike and put it in the boot of a car. The landlord of the Blanchardstown Coporate Park seen them & gave chase towards Dunsink/Finglas, but lost them unfortunately.

Car used in the theft was quite rare....a Red Nissan Bluebird with a reg plate starting '91 D'

And FYI...this is the 2nd theft in 2 days from the park. The one yesterday was done at gunpoint.

bought a bike 2 days ago , Gilera DNA , RED, 50CC , REg: 03-d-41295, turns out its stolen, have contacted gaurds in tallaght, but have to wait for detective from sundrive road, to call on saturday, if u r the owner please contact me my name is mark and my phone number is 0894667731` or 0894545001, was stolen on 2011, thats all the info gaurds would give me. just want the rightfull owner to get bike back, i should have now better than buy a bike without logbook, hope the guy who sold 2 me gets whats coming to him.
