Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

E36 Head Gasket job

    Hi all,

    I've got a bmw e36 320i saloon in need of a head gasket replacement and to have the head checked for cracks or warping. Whats the rough price for a job like this? Anybody suggest a few guys that are trustworthy down in the southwest?

    You'd be looking at €700 - €800 at an independent mechanic...

    Presumably you mean southwest of Ireland, as opposed to Dublin? If so, there's a BMW specialist in Abbeyfeale in Limerick. His name is Ger Collins, 087-2445616 or 068-32404. He knows his stuff and might be worth a call.

    Get the right person to do it or it'll never be the same again..
