Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Starting motor for a golf '96

    hi

My old golf's (83000miles) starting motor is almost about to die. It takes about 3 or 4 attempts everytime before it starts. Questions:

    1) Should I replace it for a new one and cost inc labour?

    2) If it can be fixed, is it easy and cheaper?

    3) Is this a piece easily found in a scrapage car place?

    Thanks

    R

Easly found in any scrapyard, not a big job changing the starter
motor. Only thing is its a bit of a gamble, that said i got a starter
motor 4years ago for my car and not a problem with it.
