    I am so angry right now

    RANT

    We have just got an email to say to that we have to keep two days free in the middle of February to go to an event to work on a Strategic Plan
    All staff have to attend and it will be an overnight event outside of Dublin.
    We have had lost 40% of our staff through redundancies, and taken 2 pay cuts, and we have been told the company is still short E1,000,000 on this years budget, so there will be further compulsory redundancies.
    Where is the money coming to put 170 people up in a hotel and pay their costs and shut the office for 2 days.
    Can they do this ? I suppose the short answer is probably yes, and it will look bad when the redundancies come around but we all have lives outside of work

    And now people with children have stated they cant be expected to go but the rest of us can

    RANT OVER AND GOING HOME FOR MANY BEERS
