Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Poor aul Pool.

Nothing going for them at all this season.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,853 ✭✭✭ragg

Hate to say this but 'pool bought this on themselves.

Too many soft setpieces against Stoke - they are masters at it, surely they knew that

liverpool at fault, sitting back against stoke like that.

    rediclous.

My punometer is going off the charts - was that deliberate or just a typeo??

Can we lay off N'Gog a little please? We have a kid leading the line away to Stoke with a skeleton team, I am not sure what some of you are expecting.
If you expect people to just sit back and accept a bad performance from a player in a big four team you are deluded. Would N'Gog get into the Spurs, Aston Villa, Arsenal, City or United lineups? I don't think so and its natural for Liverpool fans to be critical of him if he is not up to the standard.

surely Tuncay was offside during the melee leading to that corner. (when he came back to get involved)

Maybe but it makes no difference ultimately.

Sure but it isn't like Torres is on the bench.

Agree to an extent but it is a tough role up there on your own at the Britannia with backs against the wall.

No pace and a smaller player.

    Hardly rocket science is right.

    EDIT: FFS

Has as much pace as N'Gog, is tougher, stronger and more experienced.

You battle against Stoke not fcuking fanny about

Liverpool very unfortunate there, when things aren't going for you it just happens like that. Although I have to say I hated the subsitution leaving no striker on the field, like what we have we hold, that should not be the outlook of Liverpool fc ever.

The last minute of stoppage time and the pool decide to try and go up front.

As usual cowardly tactics when a goal up cost us dear.

Rafa guaranteed fourth place at the very least, at this rate he cannot guarantee a good stab at getting a Europa league qualifying place.

No doubt he will talk about the ref being at fault for not getting a win.

Is it his fault there are no other fit strikers? That there is no real link between midfield and attack? That he is up there on his own? That half the first team creative players are injured?

He is slower than Kuty, comfortably so.

Liverpool only themselves to blame to be honest. They invited Stoke onto them by sitting back and then left one of Stoke's biggest threats from a corner unmarked in Huth, not to mention totally vacated the ctitical backpost area as it came over.

Can't believe they let Stoke back into it, couldn't see a way they'd get a goal all day.

Jesus Kuyt hits the post, whe you're posed you're poxed.

gutted, but good spirited effort from the "team" which it certainly looked like today.

    come on spurs

OMG Sky, anyone just see that add for the Spurs game?

    Christ.

Shite defending once again. Without Pepe in goal today, Allah only knows how many more they would of scored from set pieces.

Jesus, thought Kuyt had got the winner at the end there. Some cross.

Great cross at the end there. A scuffed header by Kuyt! You don't see them too often. Really should have scored.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How have we not scored there!!!

Jesus Christ! Before this season started, did the Liverpool team bus collide with a van carrying a load of black cats, swerve off course under a load of ladders before finally coming to a halt on an old Indian burial site, desecrating the f*ck out of it.

I wish this season would just p!ss off!!! Seriously, why did i ever get involved in football!! It's killing me. It's sapping joy from me.

ok is there ONE SINGLE person watching that match that was surprised to see stoke equalise against us?? i am now firmly in the RAFA GET THE F%%K OUT OF OUR CLUB!!! side of the fence now. and no its not after just this one result, 3-4 months ago i was a rafa supporter but he has wholly lost my support now...im sick and tired of it lack of bottle at this stage. his lack of ambition when it comes to killing teams off. he started today with 6 defenders for christ sake! as soon as we got lucky enough to score he shouldve sent on aqualani or maxi to try and capitilise on that luck. rafa is far too cautious, he lacks the more cavalier when neccesary approach of more successful managers like fergie and maureen. ive had enough..im starting a rafa out thread...that showing was nothing short of pathetic from start to finish. i have more vision to pick out a pass myself than any of those players out there showed today. absolutely pathetic!!
