Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Burnley are ripping through Carrick & Scholes in mf :(

I know people are going to focus on Nani's mis-kick, but I think he's played well today. If he keeps playing this way, he'll have put in a good performance.

    Any streams? Mine's gone.

Posted a fresh one in streams thread.

We've got no battle in midfield, desperately missing Fletcher and Hargreaves. Could see Anderson coming on for one of them as the first sub to provide a bit of battle, but Burnley are putting in a good fight so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,709 ✭✭✭CR 7

That's more like it from Nani. That's probably the main reason he's played on the left, to cut inside and shoot. I don't mind him missing if it's while trying something positive.

Ah Edwin its good to have your feet back :)

Sais it from the outset. Never really seen Scholes/Carrick play well together.

valencia is looking pure class lately...

Slightly better from united, worked the ball well, alright ball in from Nani, Rooney was never gonna get power in it to trouble The Beast.

It's not only the midfield that gets riped apart, the defence is shaky enough.

Is Valencia the most one footed player in the league? :D

Chelsea doing a job on Sunderland. We need to get the finger out.

Have to say how reassuring it is having Edwin back, such a calm presence back there.

    Where's Giggs? Injured?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,348 ✭✭✭Quandary

Valencia United's best so far, offering an outlet all the time and makes great decisions when he plays it in. Nani take note.

From that last replay, it looked like it was Fletcher who had no intention of getting the ball. He just seemed to be trying to stamp his foot down.

    4-0

Berba really should have scored. One thing I would like to see from Valencia. Instead of always cuttin it back. Throw your foot through it. Be selfish sometimes.

    Chelsea 4-0 now!!!!

I have Sopcast. Any links on that are frozen more often than moving, probably due to my woeful internet connection.

Scholes getting subbed off for Anderson would probably improve the team.

So far, I've been happy with United

Just saw the absolte worst of Carrick in the last few mins, three or four times he had the ball in position where he could make forward pass but he just turned and played it safe. Not good enough for a United CM.

Jesus Berba give him a shout. If scholes had left it. Berba had a better header on.

The Fox TV channel has an immaculate stream of the Setanta feed.

Valencia is getting so much of the ball I would like to see him drive at the left back and take a few shots on!

remember, sopcast and the like are p2p so if you join a stream to late it can be difficult to get a decent quality stream as people's upload bandwidth may already be stretched. Just because you have a good quality stream from a particular link doesn't necessarily mean everyone will.

Diouf on, Berba off. Can't let him aggravate that injury.

    Hes some f*cking dose.

Would like to see Berba off, Owen in as a precaution and Carrick off for Ando.

Nani and Valencia putting in a decent innings from the wings.

Happy with Nani's preformance for once, great to see rooney and valencia striking up a good understanding. Is rafeal on the bench? I think we could tear them apart with valencia and him on the right.

Again rofl @ Nani, a fresh air when a beautiful pass is delivered to him perfectly along the ground but he connects with a difficult overhead kick.
Vanlencia has been brilliant for United but nobody able to finish any of the great balls he has put into the box. He works really well with Rooney, I think Owen is the man for the job here. As said by others, Uniteds midfield are a bit off the pace, you'd think Anderson would be an improvement on the annonymous Carrick.

    Referee is very good.

He's one of those commentators that doesn't actually analyse anything. He just says what's happening as the replay is shown ("the Valencia fires in the cross, and Rooney heads it wide").
