Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a red nissan almera saloon 2002, perfect condition inside and out with only 18,000 miles on the clock. What sort of money should I advertise it at ?

    Many thanks

I reckon around €2500 to €3k, there are lots of these cars out there and the saloon is less in demand than the hatchback.

I don't really know, but low mileage on that particular car is not a bonus. unless the oil was changed twice a year ,every year.

An old car wit very low mileage may not be an attractive buy from the point of view that it hasnt been driven much and has possibly too many short journeys done in its lifespan. Doing short journeys continuously is never good for a cars engine. That alone would put me off buying it.

Depends on a few things. Service history for one. Was it serviced every year or so, or has it only had 1 service due to mileage? Timeing belt should have been changed by now too.

End of the day its probably worth a little bit more than one with average mileage but dsepending on above points it could make a very good buy for somone.

They have a timing chain, "supposed" to last the life of the engine.

Yes and the ones that stretch are usually all low mileage ones where they have being left sitting and only covered short journeys all there life

Lots of carzone adverts don't reflect realistic prices. Stick it on there for whatever you want. But the car is woth about €2,500-€3,000 if you ask me.
