Would like to find out the general feeling on a €130+€20 freezeout. Ive been asked to run a couple of fully dealered tournaments.

I'vd seen a good few €130+€20 games recently both advertised here and elsewhere so i'd like some feedback from both organisers and players on their views regarding the €20 fee before I decide what to do.

Dealers around these parts are few and far between so thats mainly why i only run a few fully dealer games during the year.

    cheers,
    carlo

€20 reg is standard enough for a live €130 donk afaik.

Where are ya hosting them n what structure etc? 15k starting stack, 20-25 min blinds...cant go wrong imo.

Around the Boyle/Tulsk/Strokestown area of Roscommon. Yeah It would be 15k stack for definite with a 25/30 min clock with the 75/150 etc levels included and no antes.

€130+ 20 seems fairly reasonable to me

Its fine for a independent tournament i.e in a pub or a hotel but would be too expensive for a casino imo

It would be better with a smaller stack and longer levels.
I don't know why people are obsessed with big stacks, 15k is pointless with 25 mins blinds

I thnk €20 is very fair. From experience i know thats its hardlly worth it running independent pub events for a lesser reg. I don't know of any operator that charges less.

sounds good to me. seems standard these days. as long as there are dealers and some nibbles at the break.

    €5 profit, €5 venue, €5 Dealers and €5 food.

good luck. let me know when it is on. will make the trip up

I've had a chat with my regulars and they reckon that I'd get alot more players for a €100+€20 fully dealered tournament. Rather than a €130+€20 one. Same structure obv.
