If she's getting so many haterz comments on twitter, then surely that proves that she's doing a great on-screen job :D

So was velvet told to cover up now that Brooke is in the picture and mostly out of her shorts?

I'd say it was her own choice. Compared to Brooke her ass is flat.

    On Hogan:
TNA authority figure Hulk Hogan, who "quit" on last week's Impact episode, was interviewed by the Tulsa World to promote this week's Impact TV tapings in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but Hogan said he may not make the taping.

Hogan played up his TV feud with TNA president Dixie Carter to explain why he "may not make it" to the TV taping.

"I think Dixie has flipped the switch or something, she’s off on a tangent here," Hogan said.

Hogan also spoke as if he's still part of the behind-the-scenes effort to build the current TV product. "It’s an artform and a lot of the artform has been lost because the TV demands that things happen fast and get out of the ring," Hogan said. "So we’re trying to make wrestling how it should be."

    http://www.impactwrestling.com/boundforglory :
TNA Wrestling Superstars including inaugural TNA Hall of Famer “The Icon” STING, “The Immortal” HULK HOGAN, BULLY RAY, “The Charismatic Enigma” JEFF HARDY, Olympic gold medalist KURT ANGLE, “The Phenomenal” AJ STYLES, BOBBY ROODE, AUSTIN ARIES and “The Cowboy” JAMES STORM, are among those expected to appear at BOUND FOR GLORY

In regards the second part, it says tickets on sale in June. It's been there for months. They likely just never removed him.

The idea Mickie James would resign solely out of her relationship with Magnus is obviously dead now:

TNA have made Hogan a better offer than WWE. Retarded decision on TNA's part. Don't blame Hogan one bit for taking the better offer, if someone is stupid enough to give you the money, take it. Hopefully it is only a short term deal so he can go to Wrestlemania and retire for good.

Hulk Hogan vs John Cena at Wrestlemania 30 would be the perfect retirement.

This is a Terry Funk situation, Hogan will never retire. The only way he'll leave wrestling is if he dies, or is unwilling to accept what they're willing to pay. He'll continue to politic and manipulate to get the best possible deal for the longest possible time for the express good of Hulk Hogan. $35,000 per night in TNA for the last 3 years - and what has he brought them? He booked his boss to grovel at his feet and put him over as he left, Dixie scooching on her knees and wouldn't let go; but he's gotten them to resign him in mere days.

If I can paraphrase Jesse Pinkman; "Hulk Hogan, he's the devil! He's smarter than you. He's luckier than you. Whatever you think is supposed to happen, I guarantee you the exact reverse opposite will happen."

Seems like the national touring of IMPACT era is coming to an end.
Strange goings on in TNA regarding TV tapings

TNA no longer lists tapings dates for Dec. 5 or Dec. 19 on it schedule. The Dec. 5 date was scheduled for Chattanooga and the Dec. 19 date may have never been reported publicly but there was a location for the show. In addition, the Nov. 21 taping in Baltimore reportedly has no tickets for sale by PW Insider even though we had been told earlier today that the advance was terrible for the show. Their report said that people who called asking about tickets were told to try again next week, even though the event had not been canceled.

The Dec. 27 taping in Philaelphia is still on the schedule.

It was previously thought the touring situation would at the very, very least would be reviewed after the UK and Ireland tour.

The latest tapings and advance ticket sales might have driven it forward (or the availability of a suitable venue). It can't come soon enough anyway, they're getting nothing tangible from taping on the road especially considering the cost.

Apparently this is the schedule for remainder of 2013
    10/20: BFG - San Diego
10/24: Impact - Salt Lake City
    11/1 : House show - Battle Creek - CANCELED
11/2: House show - Mount Pleasant, Michigan
    11/7: Impact - Cincinnati
    11/8: House show - Canton
    11/9: House show - Toledo
    11/21: Impact - Baltimore - CANCELED?
    12/5: Impact - Chattanooga - CANCELED
    12/19: Impact - Arlington - CANCELED
    12/27: Impact - Philadelphia
12/29: House show - Lowell, MA

Some potential gap between the 11/7 and 12/27. Wonder what they will do?

if they were to have a new permanent home, Phili would make sense with it's ties to ECW.

I reckon the ticket sales were crap so are looking at a different locations, rather than pulling off the road early. The sooner they get a base again, the better.

    http://www.pwinsider.com/article/80972/tna-impact-wrestling-taping-update-promotion-returning-to-old-home.html?p=1
Conversations have been opened between TNA and Universal Studios regarding the promotion returning to the old Impact Zone in November to tape several days' worth of Impact episodes, PWInsider.com has learned.

There is no confirmation that the two sides have come to terms, but the belief is that the company is seeking to run several days' worth of tapings the week of 11/21 that would cover 4-6 weeks' worth of episodes.

The Impact Zone, located at Universal Studios Orlando's Soundstage 21, is currently being used as a Resident Evil haunted house for Universal's Halloween Horrors event through 11/2.

Going back to Universal will make the past couple of years pointless. Pretty much anywhere else would be better.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,943 ✭✭✭Machismo Fan

Anywhere that cuts costs is all they need and Universal is fine. Plus it was perfectly fine as a TV venue is the last year they were there (they only ever needed to move PPV's out of Orlando permanently).

They dont make anything from it. They cant charge the tourists admission. It's made worse because 80% of them only know Hogan, Hardy etc. so are dead for nearly everyone else.

Anywhere else eliminates both of those issues.

Man, did you not hear how much they've been losing on the road?

The cover story of the Observer this week is fierce depressing:

    Going back to this:
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=87068869&postcount=3404

The 29th December date in Lowell will be only the last show before the house show over here in Dublin on the 29th January.

What is interesting but can be soon remedied is that no date for the next PPV was announced during Bound for Glory and no venue has been booked.

There's nothing really new in the cover story it just brings it all together recaps the 2009-13 era, all the deals that need to done: Hogan, Sting, where to run TV tapings & how often, your Jeff Hardys meaning less than they did etc

I'm thinking Lockdown will be the next one which isn't until March. Loads of time to find an 80,000 seater and only use about 3,000 like they have been all summer.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,943 ✭✭✭Machismo Fan

Either they're dropping to a big three, or they don't want to announce a date before they have the TV venue nailed down. Or they're going out of business in February.

Apparently for a show in 2015, but I cant find a date for it.

    Note the ring.

Where do you find that stuff?
Gotta say I didn`t even watch BFG last nite (sky+ it alrite). The company has lost so much momentum so fast. Then them booking a rematch on Impact.....just plain stupid so it is. Like WWE booking a Orton vs Bryan series weeks after doing a little Orton vs Bryan best of 3 series.

Seen that and seen the layout for tonight's Impact:

    ScreenHunter_97+Oct.+22+20.07.jpg

The camera area maybe for the crane or hard camera. If it is for the hard camera (the main one that faces the ring) then that's a new setup.

What the hell is a KO zone?

Camera is usually where the crane is. Not sure how they usually have the hard camera set up.

Again they book a massive arena. Looks to be the same again cut off, plus however many higher level seats their are.

It was mentioned on reddit, but no proof so I went to ticketmaster and found that.

Watch Gunner/Storm vs Bro Mans, Roode vs Angle and the main event. The rest is skipable.
