Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Former WWE Intercontinental Champion The Honky Tonk Man posted the following Tweet on Monday: "Anyone who missed HTM's announcement on TNA tonight. Karen Angle vs Dixie Carter's husband is the sexual harassment lawsuit going down! That's why Dixie is off TV and Karen is now back with the company as part of the settlement."
His Tweet was in reference to statements he made during his weekly podcast this past Monday night where he claimed that Karen Jarrett is the victim of a sexual harassment lawsuit which she filed against TNA Wrestling.
According to Honky Tonk Man, Jarrett was sexually harassed by TNA President Dixie Carter's husband Serge Salinas, and part of the lawsuit settlement was that Jarrett be given her TNA job back, which is why she rejoined the company and returned to TV. Furthermore, HTM claimed that Dixie Carter was taken off TNA TV earlier this year due to the lawsuit.

TNA has filed for a trademark on the term "Impact Wrestling." The idea here is to promote that term more actively in synergy with the TV show, downplaying the TNA name. There's been a lot of talk about changes in how the company markets itself.

There have been a lot of rumors about lawsuits involving the company of late. To the best of my research, I can find no evidence that any current or former talents have filed any legal action against the company, beyond former TNA Knockout Daffney. With that said, there are several suits involving the company ongoing, including one where the company is the plaintiff, which I'll write about once I have a chance to read through the cases, but none of them are talent-related.

Mick Foley is slated to return at next week's tapings.

Chris Sabin tweaked his knee in the match against Anarquia that aired on Impact last night.

THE nation is gripped by royal wedding fever tighter than a rear naked choke from Samoa Joe, but not everyone is getting into the spirit of things.

American loudmouth and self- proclaimed wrestling royalty “King of the Mountain” Jeff Jarrett has given Wills and Kate’s happy union his particular seal of DIS-approval.

Speaking exclusively to FT this week, TNA founder Jarrett put his star-spangled boot into the happy couple, telling me: “I’ve always said Britain is full of freeloaders, but these two are the biggest pair of spongers I’ve laid eyes on.

“In my great country, the United States of America, we don’t waste money on useless phony families, their ridiculous weddings and the divorces that always follow.”

JJ ranted on: “While you Brits are sitting at home enjoying yet another day off, sipping on your warm beer and waving your little flags, here’s a question. How many hospitals have they had to close to pay for this damn wedding anyway?

“Kate, Wills and the rest of the Royal Family should be exiled to Australia with the rest of the English criminals!”

JJ should be feeling full of himself this week as his recent Lockdown match with rival Kurt Angle is an early match of the year candidate.

In a fun-filled Impact this week, Jarrett went as far as to crown his good lady wife Karen, pictured, and says his bride is a cut above our new princess.

He added: “If you want to see a real princess, then take a look at my lovely wife Karen. She has it all – looks, class, poise and, most importantly, a JOB!

“When Wills and Kate are on their FREE honeymoon, they should stop off in the beautiful city of Orlando, Florida, and challenge us to a TNA Wrestling tag team match to decide who the real royal couple are.

“I know they don’t like any sort of exertion, but I can promise it will be over damn quickly.”

Jarrett could find himself on a one-way boat trip to the Tower on next year’s UK tour!

What's the story with Jeff coming back to TNA?

He never left TNA. He was fired from Immortal, but not TNA so it's most probable a matter of when and not if he is returning. His court case has been continued until June 27th, so he may be gone for a while yet though.

According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, X Division wrestlers in TNA were said to be complaining heavily at the Lockdown PPV in Cincinnati, OH that nothing is being done with them after recent discussions had taken place to put more of a spotlight on the division months ago.

What a bunch of marks, lol. They should know better. TNA give out the same bullsh!t statement around focusing more on the X-D every 6-12 months and nothing ever comes of it.

How long is it before they rename themselves IWC? :pac:

If you're a gambling man and want a chance of making some money, you could go to www.ImpactWrestling.com , purchase the domain from GoDaddy for $69.99, then send an e-mail to TNA HQ offering them the chance to buy it from you, you could earn a few quid

Randy Ricci, a former production manager for TNA Wrestling, claimed in a blog post on Friday that the reason Desmond Wolfe has not been wrestling in recent months is because he has Hepatitis C—a viral disease that leads to inflammation of the liver. We can't confirm or deny this but have heard rumors regarding a disease he has.
Ricci adds that the former ROH World Champion will be offered an office job.
Wolfe last wrestled for the organization in August. He and Magnus were scheduled to receive a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championship against The Motor City Machine Guns at No Surrender, but were pulled from the event at the last minute, with TNA citing a "personal issue" as the reason. It was later reported that Wolfe was pulled from the event due to an undisclosed medical situation that would sideline him indefinitely. Hulk Hogan is the only TNA Wrestling employee to publicly address Wolfe's status with the organization. When asked recently on Twitter about Wolfe returning to television, Hogan responded, "Desmond's situation is beyond TNA's control, the ball is completely in his court."

interesting booking by tna and i'm pretty sure she didn't come cheap, so much for focusing on home grown stars

They are clearly bringing in Chyna because of Awesome Kong being a success in WWE, feckin Russo! He keeps copying WWE and it's unnecessary. The Sting return promo comes to mind as well.

The reason WCW whooped WWE in the ratings back in the day was because they were doing something different. They should of never got rid of the 6 sided ring. The way forward imo is to give Bischoff full creative control and get rid of Hogan and Russo.

Eh, Chyna is better than the giant NXT woman. At least she brings some name value and once off intrigue.

The Sting Promo was a little dig at peoples assumptions that Sting was going to WWE.

Hasn't Jarrett and Chyna had issues in the past?

So IMPACT Wrestling? Is that the new name for TNA or just iMPACT!?

Ya the promo was, fair enough. But the night he returned, they completely ripped off The Rock guest host thing with the lights and everything. TNA have far superior wrestlers to WWE. They don't have to copy them.

And ya, Chyna and Jarrett did have a feud in WWE.

    No she doesnt..

After the lengthy absence, there's going to be some initial intrigue regarding what she's like.

Chris Harris is teaming with Matt Hardy at Sacrifice, depending on what shape Harris turns up in that may be the most heckled team in the history of wrestling.

Just like the legenthy absences and subsequent returns of Rob Van Dam, Ric Flair, Scott Hall, Sting, and of course Hulk Hogan led to TNA's amazing successes over the last year and a half..
