Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How to access Samuel Beckett bridge from Clontarf

Commuting to Sandymount from Clontarf , trying to avoid using the East Link
and use the Samuel Beckett bridge, it is possible to approach from East Wall, Clontarf area. The only way I have seen is to drive along Nth Strand, take a left at five lamps , this road brings you to bridge. Would prefer to approach it from East Wall. If you drive thru East Wall, you approach the point , then drive alongside the liffey, direction of IFSC, prob here is you are prohibited from making a left onto the new bridge.

Similarly coming home , cross the new bridge, drive straight up five lamps, you are prohibited from making a right onto nth strand

A work-around is to drive through the Five Lamps junction, take the right after the 'Centra' block, drive up behind the flats, along the canal and onto the North Strand at Newcomen bridge.

Maybe ask in the Dublin Forum instead. You may get more repsonses as we are not all from Dublin.

The directions which you can and can't go have been done to discourage what you are proposing. You could go straight and do a u-turn on Sheriff St where it is safe but that's about it.
