HTC Hero Ringtone Delay.

    Anyone have the same problem like me? I always missed calls as my Hero only ring for very short periods.

    You can extend your ringtone by using the GSM shortcode found here.

    if you're using an mp3 as a ringtone, try converting it to .ogg.
    on my magic was happening the same thing. i could see the call coming in, but the phone wouldnt start ringing for another few seconds.
    i think its a problem with the audio codecs.

    No. I am using the original ring tone from the phone.

    Ring Meteor and ask them to extend the rings b4 voice mail box triggers, it worked for me...

    Key in **61*xxxxxxxxx*11*nn# followed by the call/send button and it should update the delay.

    xx is voice mail number so 08*5*******

    nn is time and can be up to 30

    Anyone know what is the normal ring time? 10 seconds?
