Your First Jersey?

I've going through my clothes this morning and naturally they contain a good few football shirts, and I came across my first ever one;



Sadly mine got sullied by putting Anelka 9 on the back but I still keep it just as a memento.

I know this has probably been done a thousand times already but what was your first ever football jersey? I'd imagine this is gonna show the age of the forum users up

Well my parents were never able to afford them when i was very young, or else they just didnt want to get them for me

but my first jersey was a Large mans size walsall jersey that i bought in a car boot sale while visiting relatives in london,

a bargain at 50p.

I'll dig it out sometime next weekend and get a pic of it!

Thinking of putting it on a teddy and bringing it with me to the Milan match in OT.

A really old Norwich City Jersey off my uncles friend when I was about 5.. he was 20.. i had it for years but its gone missing bright yellow with bits of green twas class.

My first ever jersey was the Chelsea Away jersey from, I think it was 1994.

The grey and orange number with 'COORS' across the front in white outlined with orange. Bloody awful looking. Still have it tho!

+1 for this one, didn't get a name and number printed for a few seasons though, I remember once getting Bjornabyae and McManaman on the home and away, parents weren't happy!!

my mothers friends were somehow sure i supported liverpool when i was younger, so my first jersey was a liverpool top from them. disgusted

my first villa top was the first muller one, my cousin got it for me while he was there on yts

Think it's a pretty ugly jersey looking back now.

Got this when I was 9...Euro 88 Irish Jersey...think I wore it for a month solid!

Can't find mine, it was Wimbledon 1994-1995 season. Didn't have a make, just said "The crazy gang" on it. The label just said the crazy gang and had the crest on it. Had 4 Jones on the back of it too! Still have it, along with about 3 other wimbledon shirts

Liverpool home, one of the Candy era ones. It was passed on to me by someone. No idea who, nobody else in the family follows football (at least back then - older brother is a Barca blow in now).



These two were the first kits I ever bought. Well, bought the away, received home as a gift. Haven't bought many since, what could top that legendary away kit!
