    Hi folks,

Does anyone know what the overgrown concrete structure is at O 172 232 ? Its 900 meters directly north of the Two Rock summit, and about 1k SSE of the Ticknock car-park.

223 perhaps? If so I'd say you're talking about the disused army rifle range. I don't know the true history myself, but I was told that it was used by the FCA until fairly recently. The army then decided that training people to shoot in a high pedestrian traffic area wasn't a good idea so they no longer use the range. It's still in army hands however.
