Apologies if this question has already been asked.

From the point of anonymity, how much personal information (name, email etc), if any, can the mods see?

    Thanks

    Hi Neopolitan.

Mods can't see your email address or IP address. Admins can see both of these if they find it necessary to check.

Apart from that restricted information, the only public things about you as a person that can be seen are what you choose yourself to post.

Unless you've posted your real name somewhere on boards (in which case everyone can see it), no-one can see your real name. As a general rule we advise people to carefully consider when putting up personal information on the Internet. There's no reason why you shouldn't as long as you're aware of what you're doing (my account is very easily traceable to who I am for example).

This is a link to the boards privacy statement, which you might want to have a look at.

If you've any further questions, don't be slow to ask. Privacy is an important thing for people and we take our responsibilities quite seriously. So we're totally open to you asking any questions you like about it.:)
