Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tubridy and Gerry Ryan to swap stations?

    I was listening to Gay Byrne today on Lyric FM and he spoke about the rumour that Tubridy and Ryan were going to swap stations. Something about RTE 1 wanting to lower its target audience age, and RTE 2 wanting to raise theirs?

    Any truth in it?

    It's a start, assuming Ryan only gets the one hour on RTE1. Next stop RnaG (the women on the Irish channels are too good looking, we need something to counter that), then hopefully a slot on Radio Rockall, if someone lets it slip that birds there know nothing about oral sex. Bliss.

    I can't decide which of the two shows I dislike the most. It might well happen, but Gay's reason for it to happen doesn't really make sense.

    Pointless. Their listeners know exactly where to find them already. And why would 2FM move the ONE show that is hitting its listening targets? All it's gonna do is ruffle feathers. I'm not one to bash RTE unnecessarily...but some of their decisions of late beggar belief.

    It would be great if Tub's could bring back the Full Iirish to 2fm, that really was a great listen in the morning and the breakfast slot on 2fm has been all over the shop since it ended. But I guess with the new more 'mature' 2fm thats a non starter!
