Wow a schoolboy error. That 12th man should be fooking kicked up the arse for putting them in that situation to have to throw the ball.

Wow, that was 1 of the worst examples of game management I have ever seen in my life. Horrible horrible by the Vikings.

To put a 40 year old who was beat up in a throwing situation with 20 seconds left is madness. Whoever made that personnel choice should be slapped ferociously if they lose.

Yeah Carolina beat St Louis in double overtime about 7 years ago I recall.

Does anyone want to win this? Have no idea why Saints ran it twice with 10 secs to go.

Thank god my uncle moved to Seattle in the 70s and not Minnesota.

That must have been a designed roll-out though? Why didn't he just keep going with the ball?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,435 ✭✭✭✭redout

Lets test the theory of it then.

    Watch and see.

It was definitely the play called by the Coordinator.

Should have kept running. He would probably have picked up somewhere between 5 to 10 yards. That's Favre though.

He knows how to do drama thats for sure!!

Hope he gets another shot at winning this game

Nice starting position for the Saints, but if you are them I guess that you would like a touchdown and not to have an inexperienced kicker try and win this. If you are the Vikings pray for another chance

He hasn't the legs to be running it. And Id say the last thing he want is an open field tackle on him when he is already fooked.

allenn was guilty of a Hold.
    That's the complaint against Vikings.

How the hell did Johnson not intercept that?

I think he has to run for it. It's would be the last play anyway and no matter how slow he is, it would put them within range for Longwell to try it out.

Its his mentality though. He has been beat up on all game. The last thing running through his mind is to run the ball.

This match is so frustrating, I'd hate to be a fan of either team. Head would be melted with both teams being so inept.

Mr. Brees and Mr. Payton, if you could score a touchdown instead of a field goal, I will win an Over bet.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,001 ✭✭✭Royal Seahawk

Just kick the ****ing field goal so I can go to bed.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

    i believe its a catch

Vikings haven't had the rub of the green from the officials in OT so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,646 ✭✭✭cooker3

    I don't think that's a catch

Well, it IS hex year, kicker-wise. Maybe we're not done yet.

    I'm not confident

I don't think the ball hit the ground, certainly wasn't conclusive so I think it's a fair call.

Officials done more to win this than the Saints themselves.
