    Hi - can you confirm if boards.ie is a registered data controller under the terms of the Data Protection Acts ?

    Hi there

    Thanks for the enquiry.

    Boards.ie is subject to the Data Protection Act and follows all rules and guidelines from the Commissioners Office, with whom we are in regular contact.

    We have enquired whether registration is necessary with them and they have told us that as of now, under current law, there is no requirement for us to register with them, as "it's not clear that it was intended that sites such as Boards.ie would be required to register."
