Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A few people have been talking to me about the Kia 7 year warranty. Is is the same warranty for seven years as would apply to a 3 year warranty on other manufacuters brand. (eg hyundai) or is it restricted after a certain time. (eg 3 years parts and labour + extra 4 years on just parts or corosion)

Anyone know the answer to this. Can't find it on their website.

I asked a main dealer about this late last year. I was told that the 7 year warrenty, parts & labour, applies to the whole drive train, ie engine, gearbox, drives etc. So in effect, all of the mechanical parts of the car. It was limited to 150k kilometers though.

That was when the 7 year warranty came out at first, now it is complete car. I am driving a 07 cee'd and really impressed, any problems i do have they are all sorted.
One thing that is really important is servicing at the right times using genuine parts
