I am looking at planting about 30 acres and was considering contracting the planting myself, has anyone else done this? Instead of using greenbelt (or similar) I am considering hiring a digger man withe experience in planting and planting myself. Would this be advisable ? And any ideas where the up-to-date figures are for…

if you are not familiar with forrestry it might be worth your while to hire a private forrester as a consultant to advise on the application, tree type etc etc and still do a lot of the work yourself
