Trying to switch to ntl from eircom and called ntl sales service and turns out that it's not available for my address. But I do know it's available in my area since some of my neighbours do use ntl broadband. Is it possible to ask ntl to send an engineer to check if it's available? and would there be any cost involved?

    Redfield,

You have done better than I

I sent them a mail 10 days ago requesting to know if they could offer broadband at a specific address that I provided ( there is a UPC cable supported by the building in question )

Reply arrived two days later that they need to know my telephone number

    WTF ?
