Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

okay so im reading that Roddy Collins has an A badge. His assistant Tommy Dunny has Pro License badge. Meaning that Cork City will not be able to enter the Europa League because Collins does not have the necessary coaching qualifications and UEFA wont allow assistant coaches to do the touchline in Europa league games.
So whats the logic behind the ruling. Hasnt there being loads of times where assistant managers have filled in for their managers.

LOL Roddy, why does he not have that Licence? It's not like he new to management.

Roddy is Roddy. Was mentioned that Sligo may get the next available slot because Paul Cook does have a pro licence. Cork must have assumed that Roddy had the badge. Say that Europa money would have come in handy as well.

What exactly is the idea behind needing the coaching badges anyway?

It basically grades you as a coach and who decides you can coach basically.

Cork may not even be a club come the start of the season so Roddy not having some badges won't matter as he certainly won't be managing any new club set up in Cork to replace the current Cork City.

surely though that is a bit of a defeatist attitude to have. Anyway question is what would be wrong with Tommy Dunne taking charge during the European games.
