Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone might know name of the instrumental piece that used to be on before John Creedon on RTE radio 1 back in the late 80s or possibly very early nineties. I think the music opened RTE radio one and was on even before the news. It's a simple piano piece. Cheers

Is that the tune that was repeated about 10 times or so when RTE radio 1 was opening at about 5:30?

The station identification signal is "O'Donnell Abú" which used to played at 5.30am on Radio One.

I associate it with MacMathuna on a Sunday morning but also remember it being played late at night too. Could be bad recall though.

Thanks a million, it seems to be on glockenspiel or something similar actually, not piano.
