How will Eircom react ?

    Have a fist full of PSTN lines with Eircom.

    About to port one of the numbers to Blueface and cancel just about all the others.

    Will there be a reaction from Eircom ?

    What antics may be tried ?

    With DSL when a customer wants to cancel the request is passed onto Eircom's Retention department who may or may not approach the customer with a solution.

    I would imagine the procedure of cancelling a landline would in some cases go down a similar avenue.

    Just hope you never fave faults with the line!! Eircom still have to fix it even with another provider...! In theory though they cant react in anyway other than professionally. If you have a problem you contact complaints and if not satisfied with that comreg..
