Table Quiz in Aid of Haiti

A massive 7.0 magnitude earthquake stuck the Caribbean island of Haiti on Tuesday 12 January. The extent of the devastation is still unclear, but the early signs are not good with communications down across the country.

Dignity Bar Kilkenny This Thursday 21st Jan from 8pm. With Joanna on stage afterwards. Free to enter but all donations accepted on the night.

" The earthquake in Haiti is a major catastophe for a country where up to 85% of people already live in poverty. We are launching an immediate appeal to respond to this emergency. Oxfam has a 100 strong-team working across Haiti – including 15 emergency specialists - and we're rushing in teams from around the region to provide emergency supplies, clean water, shelter and sanitation.

Hi all friends, fund raiser for victims of Haiti earthquake nightmare at Cafe Sol, Kilkenny and Sol Bistro, Thomastown on Friday, January 29th. All employees donating all their wages and tips on the day plus entire profits from both restaurants being donated to GOAL, we hope to raise enough money to save around 8 lives.
