Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Lads,

Im building a new house in Tipp this year and im trying to spec a complete comprehensive plan of the costs involved, average percentage of total costs for ground work, roof, windows, doors, Electrics, plumbing, heating etc

i understand that it is all reliant on different finishes and specs but im hoping for approximate figure just to give me an idea.

    Thanks

Hey, if you are looking for a complete comprehensive cost you need to go to a quantity surveyor. The best starting point I think is a very rough mark of 100e per sq foot. Just as example, our window quotes ranged from 22k to 44k. That's what you're up against! Although I do remember seeing a spreadsheet which I found on google was pretty crap.

I downloaded a decent budget template from here before.
I think it was Jollyman that had it up.
Here's a link to his blog... might be here somewhere.
