UK penalty points on an Irish licence ???

    Can anyone tell me what happens when you get done for speeding in the UK and have an Irish licence.

    I've been googling but can't find any comprehensive answer. :confused:

    All I can find out is that the licence will be "electronically endorsed" Will these points go on the Irish licence when it is renewed?

    Any info/advice appreciated. :)

    IIRC the two systems are completely separate and whilst they may be recorded on the UK database, they cannot be recorded on the Irish database.
