Basement Plumbing and Wastewater

    Hi,

We're adding an extension to an existing building that will contain a basement and ground floor.
The basement will contain a kitchen and bathroom with toilet and shower that will need plumbing to a wastewater treatment system that is at groundlevel(higher than the basement).

The main products i've seen are from Saniflo for Sewage/wastewater ejector systems and macerators. Though looking at there requirements chart we'd need two systems as there doesn't seem to be a single unit to handle say Dishwasher/Washing machine/Shower and toilet.

We could either go for an aboveground system and have to raise the shower/toilet etc a bit for gravity flow. The obvious benefit being i suppose ease of access if there are any problems with the unit.

Or we could have a belowground system installed during construction.
Not sure of any technical benefits to this other than being out of the way and not having to raise shower and toilet.
May also be trickier to do maintenance on.

Would anyone have experience or advice in regards to these situations?

    Many Thanks,

    C.
