Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I hope Stevie was watching Carra, he might not be playing well all season but the lad never gives up...great determination to win the corner.

Jesus...Skrtel should of hit the target.

    Spurs are playing very narrow.

Liverpool are playing quite well. Not slick but working extremely hard.

    5/6 a side football

One of the best performances (thus far) in a while I've seen from Liverpool.

    Whole ground chanting Rafa's name.

Excellent first half, the team really fighting for each other and the manager, putting everything in and showing that grit and manliness that Rafa insists on in his teams.

For the first time in a long time i'm feeling confident about a game

Krancjar has been rubbish so far. Hustled out of it by every player he comes up against.

Gut busting display, i'm worried that Masch will be sent off though.

Not likely. They've been mostly hoofing long balls into the Liverpool box and have only had 1 shot on target thus far.... Outlook not so good.

Jaysus, i wouldn'y say that. I think Liverpool have been the better team, but Spurs are still well in this.

Especially if we stick to our usual this season of being one up at half time and then losing the plot in the second half

Passion, hard work and decent support from the crowd, hopefully we can Champuons League 05'it into the Champions League, COME ON!

This is the best that Liverpool have played this season, and against a good team.

Even the big wins at the start of the season did not impress me in terms of teamwork when compared to tonight.

Aquilani is playing well, pulling the strings.

Well pretty much everyone is working hard and doing well.

Rafa is looking to plant one on Harry, Sammy is doing his best Lord Of The Dance on the touchline, and I have a feeling that Agger is going to invade the pitch later in the half using a longboat.

Sausages are good, but an apple is not a banana because motorbikes don't have oranges for wings.

good first half that. Aqualani starting to repay back some of tranfer fee. And kyrgiakos gives us a presence from set pieces. this team finally starting to take shape

i'd be worried that we will drop back more an more as the half progresses and spurs will grab more of a foothold in the game.

They say the Stoke game was brutal, this is quite different. Passion and effort in abundance!! It's like watching the pool - finally!

By the way, can we keep the other scorelines from this thread. Someone posted an update a few pages back from the Arsenal-Bolton match. Now, i know the spoiler was on, but i'm assuming that it was posted because Arsenal are getting beaten. I don't know that for sure, but that's what i guess.

I wanna watch the hightlights later without knowing who wins

The game really is calling out for Neil Lennon...

I dont think Liverpool are playing particularly good football but you have to admire their determination and spirit. The crowd have also been fantastic.

ha I'm a fucker for that as well, I'll have a game taping and tell everyone to tell me nothing, and people will give smartass comments like "pool are losing 3 nil" and I'll freak out since I know that cant be whats actually happening now, and that they're most likely winning at this stage as people usually say the opposite.

heart just stopped for a bit there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

That linesman took ages to flag. Spurs maybe robbed of a goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

Keep walking Defoe, nothing for you here. :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,949 ✭✭✭SuprSi

    Wow, what a crap decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,588 ✭✭✭daithijjj

The shortcomings of the offside rule in perfect motion there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

Little Sammy is dancing his legs off on the touchline tonight to make sure that linesman sticks to the plan. :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,282 ✭✭✭Glico Man

    Good attempt from Riera there

And a good dive from Lucas, was going nowhere and was about to lose, felt the contact and took a rolie polie:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

This grey area sh!te is ridiculous. I have no idea if that was offside or not. Was it first phase or second? Thank God the linesman thought first phase

I mean, I can see why its not givin, because had Defoe not been where he was due to being offside, then theres no panicked passback and no fukup, but still, waaay too big a margin for inconsistency in that situation...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,082 ✭✭✭✭Spiritoftheseventies

good call there by match officials

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

    Unlucky Riera.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,282 ✭✭✭Glico Man

    Agonisingly close for Albert

  • Registered Users Posts: 479 ✭✭SWAR

Oh FFS, great attempt from Riera and good play from Aquilani to set up Carra for the cross.

    We def need another.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,109 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,082 ✭✭✭✭Spiritoftheseventies
