Result aside, for the first time in a long time that we have quite a few positives to take out of tonights game:

Great spirit by all the players
A clean sheet
Another solid performance from the Greek (dodgy backpass aside)
Great to have Reira back and a very good performance from him considering he's only coming back
A decent showing from Acquilani and a few glimpses of what he is potentially capable of
Ngog had a big impact when he came on (another boost to his confidance)
Another run out for Maxi and a few nice touches
And of course, 2 goals for Dirk, which will hopefully spur him on a bit for the rest of the season

dirk kuyt would be top scorer in the league every season if he could finish, the amount of great positions he gets himself into is incredible, he seems to miss about 2 sitters every game
