Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Accelerator Pedal Loose

Just coming back home today and accelerator went a bit odd on me. Had to push foot on pedal a bit more to get to normal speed. When I got back home I saw that it was a bit loose, could lift it up to normal position, but it would fall back a few inches (hope this is clear). Is it a big deal, can it be easily fixed, or has anybody come across this problem before? Never again will I get a Fix It Again Tomorrow!!

Sounds like a problem with either your accelerator cable or your pedal box. Neither should be particularly expensive to repair, and certainly not worth changing marques over.

Phew! Thanks Anan1, just after getting head gasket replaced - can't handle any more of this car's "issues!"

Before you get too relaxed reember that i'm only guessing and i'm not a mechanic! I'd get it looked at straight away though, that's the kind of thing that can let you down at any moment.
