Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm just after buying a new PC, It says I have a 60 day Microsoft office trial. I need a 25 digit activation code. When I click for it, it says I can't get it as I am not connected to internet (which I am).

It then gives a link to a webpage and then it says this

    Get a Trial Key
To obtain a Trial Activation Key please select the product from the below list and click on 'Get Key'.

Thing is there is no list below, no nothing.

    Any ideas please?

Chances are that you only got the trial version.
Shops can be dicks like that.

Check through the manuals you got with it. There may be an activation key with them.

This advice is based on the assumed fact you have a genuine one and have misplaced it.

You can probably find it here.

If I remember right you don't need the activation key. Start office as normal and when it asks you for a product key just click no and follow the instructions on screen. You'll have to do that everytime though.

you can only use it 25 times though without activating trial.

Edit: Got it, the youtube video was spot on.

Delete the trial and give Office 2010 Beta a blast, it will work till October 2010.
