Testing Phone Line

    Howdy ho, does anyone know the codes that need to be input into a phone to test if the line is active?

    I spoke to eircom months ago and I wrote it down somewhere but can't find it for the life of me.

    I vaguely remember you having to dial "199000" into the phone at some stage if anyone knows it?
