The 3rd member of D.W.O (Defying Wrestling Organization) is ...

    Evan Bourne

    200px-Evan_Bourne_.jpg

Evan qualifies in this as he made his WWE debut in June 2008. He's one of the best aerialist (if that makes sense) around and his Shooting-Star Press is second to none. I think Evan will fit right in here in the D.W.O as his style fits the name.

My next pick is Ted Dibiase Junior, who debuted on WWE TV on May 26, 2008,

This guy is on the brink of becoming a big time player in WWE. This time next year he'll have been snapped up far earlier than this mark my words, he has the pedigree, the look, the charism and carries himself as a star in such a way that ges going all the way to the top of the wrestling world..

Pity I couldn't get Cody as well (debuted in 2007), but given that I have Ted Senior this really was a no brainer for me, someone I had earmarked as a pick before the pre-2008 rule was announced and the next step in the little master plan of a storyline I've been working on.

    Fla's Roster:

    1. Mick Foley
    2. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase
    3. Stan Hansen

Since ROH on HD Net has become the marker for ROH debuts in this round, this pick should be ok I think. Arguably the best tag team in the world in 2009, featuring arguably the best wrestler in the world in 2009, a guy compared a lot to Dynamite Kid and Chris Benoit in the ring, and his partner, who himself is no slouch. The American Wolves, Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards.

    "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

Well the rule is: Round 3 picks can only have made their IN RING TELEVISION in their current promotion debut since 01/01/2008

With that in mind, my pick is the biggest heavyweight ppv draw in boxing history.

    My third pick is:

    Iron Mike Tyson
    mike-tyson-sports-illustrated.jpg

Just also, while I am picking him under this rule, I very much see him as the 1986 to 1995 Mike Tyson not the Tyson of 2009. I have big plans for him!

    New pick:
    12547942

    Vance Archer. Yay.

These are valid I think and I checked with Gimmick. Williams made his second debut with TNA in 2008 but his in his first one, he was not officially signed.

I particularly like Magnus, he used to be just a powerhouse but has really come on a lot in the ring. I am a huge fan of stables and it is great seeing someone like Doug Williams getting a shot in TNA. Brutus Magnus was alright as a singles wrestler but never really moved into a proper feud, as a tag team they can stand out and hopefully win the title down the track. I think TNA are doing a good job with these guys and they'll always be over with their irritating Britishness ;) These guys represent the ideal heel tag team and I'm delighted to make them my post 2007 pick

    HVW Roster to date:
    Brock Lesnar
    The Ultimate Warrior
    Doug Williams
    Brutus Magnus

It gives me great pleasure to introduce my pick for round 3. The TNA Knockouts division has become the place for ladies wrestling in the modern era. The women who compete have shown that they are among the most talented performers around, putting WWE's diva divisions to shame. Although a recent addition to the roster, my pick has already shown the skill needed to become one of the highlights of her division.

Matt Morgan first appeared on TNA television as a Bodyguard in 2007 but didn't wreslte his first match until Lethal lockdown in 2008 http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/profiles/m/matt-morgan.html. Ever since then he's been pretty damn good in TNA, solid in the ring with a great presence and even carving out a good personality and gimmick for himself. He even got to the main event scene for a while. George Hook

Monday Night Grappling is sad to report that it has failed to agree final terms with Eric Bischoff and as such has terminated his contract by mutual consent.

We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Hopefully I can get Mike Tyson later to kick the **** out of Vance Archer but anyway....

My fourth pick are probably not very well know but were HUGE in Japan for a time in the 1980's in wrestling but also cultural terms. I could probably have picked them in a much later round but I'd only pick people I alread did in the first draft and that kinda bores me.

They regularly garnered tv ratings of 12.0 and higher in Japan.
    They could draw huge crowds.
    They could really, really wrestle.
They are both members of the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame, not very many woman or tag teams can say that.
They are both members of the All Japan Hall of Fame.
    They could even sing.

Please take a look at the videos below to get a little bit more of a picture of my pick.

Presenting: The Crush Girls: Chigusa Nagayo & Lioness Asuka

    5500.jpg

Singng (Listen to the John Cena esque kiddy shrills shouting in the backroud)

Wrestling:This is worth a watch particularly if your only conditioned to watching WWE divas wrestling and baring and mind that this was 26 years ago!

The Fla's 4th round pick is a pair of all-rounders who will be brilliant picks whether used as singles guys or as a team.

Former Horsemen, their pedigree is unparrallelled. Both are brilliant talkers and huge main event stars in their own right. They were both world class in-ring workers, with Anderson in particular one of my all time favourites. As a team they were simply sensational and easily in gthe top 3 teams of all time.

Deligted to have gotten these guys on board onto what is fast becoming a roster with nothing but bone fide legends of the wrestling industry involved.

    Ladies and gentlemen I present

    Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard

This was a tough one for me. I had 3 viable picks for this round, and I expect the other two I had in mind to be gone. But I need to beef up the top end of my card, and what better way than one of the great antagonists of his time. And he fits into my roster perfectly.

He made the Ultimate Warrior look like he could wrestle.

He was involved in one of my favourite ever feuds with Jake 'The Snake' Roberts.

A former US Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and multi-territory Heavyweight Champion. He is arrogant, he is nasty...but...he is most importantly...'Ravishing'...

For my next pick, I choose the former GHC Tag Team Champions...

first is the former ROH Champion, and one of the, if not the best, big wrestler in the world today. He is an unbelieveable wrestler, and won the 2007 Wrestling Observer match of the year for his match with Bryan Danielson.

    Takeshi Morishima

    637920915_a3a546eedb.jpg

    and

secondly is a legend in japanese wrestling. He is the first of two men ever to hold all 3 of puroresu's major heavyweight titles – the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the AJPW Triple Crown Championship, and the GHC Heavyweight Championship. At one point in his career, he was also the third Road Warrior. And in 1995 he defeated Sting for the WCW US title. And to top that all off, he is 2-0 in MMA.

    Kensuke Sasaki

My next pick is a true legend, a hall of famer, and a name that's well known across many generations. A versatile, charismatic performer who could work at the top level as a babyface, or a heel and a great in ring storyteller. Pretty good talker too. I wont list all his 140+ title wins and other accomplishments or I'll stretch the page a mile long.
    Jerry "The King" Lawler
    36.jpg

Alongside Jerry, I'm going to pick former tag team partner, and later on rival, "The Universal Hearthrob" Austin Idol.
    09.jpg
That's right people, Idolmania is coming to boards! Without a doubt one of the most charismatic men to ever step in the ring, a fantastic talker and while not the best technical wrestler he knew more than enough to tell a great tale.

This man gives me the technical dimension to my main event that I need. He just makes the cut, debuting in the early 1970's and due to his clean cut, technical approach to the world of professional wrestling, won me over as soon as I first saw videos of him. He can play heel or face which gives me flexibilty, his Mr. Backlund gimmick is ideal to get on the fan's nerves, should I choose to use him that way.

He had a career of ups and downs. Two times a WWF champion, he lost it in 8 seconds to Diesel but also set a record of 61 minutes in a Royal Rumble match back in 1993, only to be better by Chris Benoit a few years back. He beat all the greats during his first title reign. He came back for short managerial stint with Kurt Angle a decade ago and passed on the torch but the Ankle Lock holds no precedent over the Crossface Chickenwing!

Also, here's a snippet of the master of the piledriver :) (3:35)

The Fabulous Freebirds (Hayes and Gordy)
    freebirdscolumn_495.jpg
Before everyone knew Micheal Hayes was a massive racist he had to find other ways of getting heat so he he became one third of arguably the greatest heel tag team ever (I prefer Edge and Christian because of the poses). They kept interest in an epic multi year feud going on with the Von Erichs in Texas which earned them two feud of the year awards in the Observer.

My next draft is one of the big list of Wrestlers which have died at a far too young an age (only 33). He is a former WWF Intercontinental Champion, 4 time WCWA world heavyweight champion, NWA World heavyweight champion, multiple time tag team champion and a WWE hall of famer. Often refered to as "the Texas Tornado" or "The Modern Day Warrior", i give you the 5th member of the BWA and my 4th draft pick and a man who was a number 1 draft pick in the original boards draft and a 3rd round draft pick last year... Kerry Von Erich.

My next pic has achieved success everywhere he went before he ran out of places he could win a title so he had to start his own
    jeff-jarrett-interview-20061101114825518-000-000.jpg

I always liked Jeff Jarret because the first time I took notice of him he hated women and I was 9 so I hated them as well. One of the best midcarders of the Attitude era who went on to win 10 World championships also had a fairly great career towards the end of the territories and is the only American winner of AAA's king of kings title. A fantastic heel he's cut a few great face promo's as the grieving widower in TNA and IMO he's really underated in the ring and rarely has a bad match

I was dissappointed when Stan Hansen was picked as a partner for Ted Dibiase ... I was disappointed when Kerry Von Erich was picked, but more than disappointment, was a a sense of relief, that this wrestler was not picked as either man's partner. Truely a great, one of the best bigmen ever to step into the squared circle. At one time he was the highest paid wrestler working, more than Hogan and Flair. He has influenced many many great wrestlers. My pick is:

    BRUISER BRODY

    All Japan Pro Wrestling
NWA International Heavyweight Championship (3 times)[9]
PWF World Tag Team Championship (1 time) – with Stan Hansen[10]
World's Strongest Tag Team League (1981) – with Jimmy Snuka
World's Strongest Tag Team League (1983) – with Stan Hansen
    Central States Wrestling
NWA Central States Heavyweight Championship (1 time)[11]
NWA Central States Tag Team Championship (1 time) – with Ernie Ladd[12]
    Championship Wrestling from Florida
NWA Florida Heavyweight Championship (1 time)[13]
NWA Big Time Wrestling / World Class Wrestling Association
NWA American Heavyweight Championship (4 times)[14]
NWA American Tag Team Championship (3 times) – with Kerry Von Erich[15]
NWA Brass Knuckles Championship (Texas version) (6 times)[16]
NWA Texas Heavyweight Championship (1 time)[17]
NWA Texas Tag Team Championship (3 times) – with Mike York (1), Gino Hernandez (1), and Kerry Von Erich (1)[18]
    WCWA Television Championship (1 time)[19]
    NWA Tri-State
NWA United States Tag Team Championship (Tri-State version) (1 time) – with Stan Hansen[20]
    NWA Western States Sports
NWA Western States Heavyweight Championship (1 time)[21]
    Pro Wrestling Illustrated
PWI Editor's Award (1988) tied with Adrian Adonis
PWI ranked him #14 of the 500 best singles wrestlers of the "PWI Years" in 2003
    Southwest Championship Wrestling
SCW Southwest Brass Knuckles Championship (1 time)[22]
SCW World Tag Team Championship (1 time) – with Dick Slater[23]
St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame
    Class of 2007
    World Wrestling Association
WWA World Heavyweight Championship (1 time)[24]
    Wrestling Observer Newsletter awards
5 Star Match (1984) with Stan Hansen vs. Dory and Terry Funk on December 8
    Best Brawler (1980–1984, 1987, 1988)
Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame (Class of 1996)

This completes the top tier of my roster.

D.W.O is proud to unveil the 6th and 7th members of the D.W.O Revolt roster:

    Hernandez and Homicide a.k.a L.A.X

    1209100530_f.jpg

I believe I've chosen 1 of the best tag-teams available. L.A.X lit up the TNA Tag division (along with fellow D.W.O members, Beer Money). Homicide and Hernandez should have no problems fitting in on the Revolt roster.

    D.W.O Revolt Roster
    1. The Undertaker
    2. Eddie Guerrero
    3. Evan Bourne
4 and 5. Beer Money, Inc.

Aw, snap! I think I've hit the jack-pot with this next pick. What I'm going for in my roster is guys that have impressive wrestling skills, a high-work rate, and some originality in their character and hopefully some mic skills. 5 rounds in, i'd like to add two more members to the wBw roster, who each have great characters, a high work rate, and have been pretty overlooked by America's major promotions...and who's characters are just awesome. Undoubtedly if they were a few inches taller, they'd get their due in WWE and/or TNA, but they get their spotlight in wBw.

The first shone in a fantastic tag team on SmackDown, who split up and moulded himself into a great loose-cannon type character, which was over-looked by WWE due to his size. Fortunately he found his way onto Dragon Gate USA, where he can showcase his wonderful athletic ability.

    the-brian-kendrick.jpg

    "The" Brian Kendrick

Using the tag-team clause in the round, he has been NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Champion for over 100 days with my next pick. A world warrior, a street fighter, and all round bad-ass stiff wrestler...he looks like he's ripped straight out of Mortal Kombat. Woefully misused by TNA, this guy should be showcased so much more. Reputedly very strict, stiff and menacing, this guy has a definite place on my roster.

    Senshi (aka Low-Ki, Kaval)

    wBw Roster :

    Kurt Angle
    Alex Shelly
    Chris Sabin
    KENTA
    The Miz
    John Morrison
    Brian Kendrick
    Senshi

My fifth pick is one of the biggest draws ever in Mexican wrestling. At his peak, he drew more than anybody in this round and indeed the majority of people who have been picked so far.

At his peak when he was hot, he was money.

He set the all time attendence record for a Mexican wrestling match in 1993 with his retirement match and was a key part in both boom periods in Mexico.

He is a member of the Observer Wrestling Hall of Fame.

And even when he couldn't wrestle, he was fantastic on this mic.

    I give you: Konnan

    18.jpg

    And!!!

A guy who you could put on a WCW pay per view and were more or less guaranteed a quality match. He was a corner stone in their much heralded cruiser weight division.

A very good, under appreciated wrestler.
