Check Engine Light

Have a check engine light on a Peugeot 307 but no visible problems with the car but want to get it checked out just in case. Do indepependent garages have tools to read ecu codes or does it have to be a main peugeot dealer? Was hoping to avoid a main dealer, so if someone could recommend a place that could read it - north wicklow or dublin south that'd be great.

    thanks guys

Any indy should have the diagnostic tools. I'm guessing its probably an
o2 sensor thats no longer working. Ring for a price first, about 50 or less
    i'd say.
