Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anyone tell me where one of these might be got other than just ordering from main dealer?

It is for a friend and they want to try to keep the cost down.

whats wrong with it, i have never changed one- you have to change the throttle body complete. whats the car doing?

Sounds odd alright and as PADRAIC said I think you need to chnage the throttle body out.

    Which wont be cheap

Are you sure thats the problem?

This is for a friend, it is running rough, not starting properly until warmed a little and cutting out too IIRC

It had been driven through not too deep flood waters and after a service they suggested changing this part.

Having read online today about this the normal procedure is to clean the valve in petrol and clean the housing etc before refitting but you'd expect they knew to do that.
