    Hi,

I have a bit of a noodle scratcher...

I upgraded to sky+ and decided to put the old sky box in the bedroom. I wired up the sky box to the quad lnb and cannot receive a signal. I've tested the cable for signal and continuity and its fine. I have even borrowed another receiver but no luck

    Any comments or suggestions?

    Thanks

Try different outputs on the quad lnb

So just to be clear have you put the box in place of the sky + box and it works ok? If this is the case it points to a cable issue, I know you did a continuity check but they may not be passing RF correctly. Have the F connections been terminated correctly?

Yeah the sky box is working fine, i thought it may be an issue with the cable so i hooked the sat finder between the sky box and cable (no sure if this works!) and it was reading a strong signal.

Ok there must be an rf problem somewhere along the cable or an F connector issue.

Got it going, turns out it was a bad terminated F connection! Thanks for the help Tony :)
