Registration for the Joey Hannan standard distance and try-a-tri triathlons will open this Sunday, 7th February, at 8pm.
A link to the Active Europe registration process will be posted here at that time.
There will be a second release of places on Monday 22nd February, at 8am. If you are unsuccessful getting a place on Sunday, please try again on the 22nd.
Registration for the 2010 Hell of the West will open on Monday 22nd February

It will sell out on the day I would imagine. In my mind it and Kilkee are the only two events worth hitting F5 for. I love this race.

Looking forward to it, gets good reviews. Is the bike short or very fast for some reason? Times seem low.

Its short as far as I can remember - 2 to 3km I think, would have to check my training diary

Hi Catweasel,
Its a charity event, a proper one with all of the proceeds beign donated to a really special cause directly. We are hoping to promote Triathlon in our part of the world and make sure people have a really good time and am sure that all participants will leave with good memories and a really quality experiance. We have lots of special things which you wont find at other events & really hope that you can make it.

Ah balls to that, I think I just got in on Tri-Athy instead today although I would have had no problem with your fee if I had known the proceeds were going to charity. Its not apparent on your website that this is the case and I have heard a few people bitching about the price so it would be in your interest to make the charity angle a bit more clear, I think you have them just listed as partners

With only 24 replies in 5 months, i think this Tri Calendar would work better as part of an overall Race Calendar Sticky, so I'll merge the two, and un-sticky this thread. General discussion on the various events should be confined to their specific threads in A/R/T forum. We can always go back if it doesn't work.
