I haven't used Instapaper and read it later but i presume it is something you will save it and read it later.
Opera mini has Save page option, which will save the page as it is and you can browse later without need of internet connection, If that helps.

SoundHound is a pretty cool app out now for free. Like Shazam, except you can sing or hum the tune too and it will match it for you (usually!!)

Also, I'm not sure if this is the right place for it, but it's acout app store so here goes...

I went to do a mass update of about 4 apps from the app store. it asked for my password as usual which was fine. Then it told me my payment method was declined? (or something to that effect).

Now why on earth would that make a difference to update either 1) free apps, which are 80% of all my apps, or 2) the ones which I have already paid for when I purchased them? None of my apps are subscriptions...

Surely every time an app updates you aren't charged for the new version?

definitely not. Have you gone through each of them individually? You didn't do any of 'purchase within app' stuff in error?

Reading the reviews it's supposed to be better than skyfire. Re BBC & RTE players they don't work afaik because puffin goes via proxy servers abroad so as far as BBC or RTE are concerned you're not in their territory so can't access their content. But I find it works for non territory restricted sites.

Fragger is free for a few days.
This is a fantastic game which I got pretty soon after I first got my iPhone and I still find it challenging.

words with friends...free with ads or pay without ads
basically scrabble but you can play your mates or random games
easy game to come and go from....
usually have 4 or 5 games on the go at once

has anyone used flipboard on the ipad...
well, i think pulse is the nearest thing to it for the iphone....looks very slick...and grabs feeds from any site, just bang in keywords and it'll find the feed, extremely easy.

Dice Fight is great...cause I'm a huge yahtzee fan. (add deisesupes on game center so i can whip your ass)

Also super stickman golf is great, like worms golf

started playing "the heist", loving it!
Puzzle game, and has some nice usage of the iphone, for example you receive "phonecalls" during the game. I didnt know about it, thought it was real for a second, and was wondering who the hell was ringing me, and how did I have a pic saved for them!

Yeah I loved the phone call part if this game. But finding the puzzles a little tough. That might say more about me than the game though!!!

i know, they are quite tricky, especially some of the sliding puzzle ones.

I see Irish Independent App is Free now down from €2.39, lots of bad reviews for previous versions but to me so far is ok.
