Wtf! BBC Sport finally release an iPhone app and it's only available in UK app stores! Grrr!
I have US account but can't set up UK one! Anyone?
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/20928565
Have spent the best part of an hour trying to get this to work - with success!

    Long story short...

I created a new Apple ID online choosing the UK as my country and using a UK address. They do request credit card validation but there was a very sneaky way around it I found suggested in Apples own forums...

If you go to this site and copy the voucher code you get when you click on "DOWNLOAD..." you can bypass the card validation bit:

    http://www.klove.com/music/store.aspx
(Yes, it's a Christian Rock site - thanks Jesus!)

Grab the code, goto iTunes (make sure you're signed out), and click on "Redeem" down the bottom of the iTunes Store homepage.

You'll get prompted to signin, so use your new ID and do so. You should reach the payment validation page but the holy grail of payment options "NONE" should be available to you beside the other card options. Make sure that's selected, fill in the rest and you are good to go!

You can also do this by just choosing a free app in the store and creating an ID from that point.

That only works in certain circumstances. I did that to create a US account, but it doesn't work for a UK one - you still have to set up a payment method with cards or gift vouchers the only options.

Ah right, I've only done it for US accounts, didn't know it won't work for UK.

I did it for the UK and it worked fine. You just need to be sure to chose the free app first.

Reeder for iPhone is free until v3.2 is approved by Apple. The iPad and Mac versions are free until Monday (when they are being removed from the App Store until v2 of both is ready). If you download them now you'll get the subsequent major updates for free. The Mac and iPad apps aren't much use at the moment as they only support Google Reader which is being shut down on Monday, and the next few months are going to be bumpy even for the iPhone version as the various RSS services duke it out, but Reeder is easily the best RSS client on all three platforms. Get it now while you can.

    Limbo
Just seen this. Have it on PS3 and it's an amazing game.

Be warned though, it will only work on iphone4s and later models.

    Brilliant app for
Live score, select what teams, leagues you want to follow. When someone scores, video is posted straight to the app. You also get the highlights of each goal at the end of the match. Best app by far for live scores.

Fantastical 2 with Reminders integration and re-designed for iOS 7 has been released. It’s a separate purchase through the App Store. Launch price is 2.69.

Was obsessed with this last week!

Brilliant app and a great idea. It's now my default go-to-in-a-queue app. I was first in Ireland in Sci-Fi and Fantasy for a week. :D

That said, the rankings are effectively based on time spend and the number of points you can rack up. I believe they should be based on win rate/average questions correct or something that rewards knowledge rather than free time.
