Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Every time I close down IE I get an error message saying that IE has stopped working & Windows is trying to find a solution.

I then get a message saying that a programme has caused IE to stop working and that IE has shut down.

    Any thoughts?

I think you can remove IE from Windows 7, it's not integrated as before, maybe try reinstall it.

I get the same message but IE doesn't actually close down.

I'd be curious how it stops doing something it never really did. Try Google Chrome.

Try anything but Chrome... If I wanted Google to have a file on my search habits, I'd give them to them.

Anyway, if you want to re-install Internet Explorer :

    Just wear a tinfoil hat.

Chrome is great. Or Firefox. Or Opera.

Hahaha that so funny! You should become a stand up comedian. Seriously, well done

Its not a big giant conspiracy or the government is spying on me.

Its a simple privacy concern, Google make money through ad's, they make ad's relevant by data mining your search history and browsing habits.
They're CEO says you shouldn't care if Google invade your privacy unless your trying to hide something.

Google has a nice history of privacy issues

You think Gmail, Search, News, Docs, Chrome, ChromeOS and Android is free just because they "do no evil" and "we are the cool kids on the block", taking on the might of IBM, Microsoft and the other Big bad guys out there.

Google answer to the shareholders like any Corporation and whether people care or not, Google build profiles from what you do with their services and hold that data for 18 months. And to add to all this, what happens when the next lawsuit comes along and Google is made hand over peoples data again
