I want softwear for my laptop, something that i can download my home movies from my camcorder and rugby matches on to and edit and burn on to a dvd.

How much are you looking to spend?

pinnacle 14 woud be cheap and simple.

DVD Flick and DVDStyler may be of some use...

Or if you want to spend a bit of money, Adobe Premiere Elements 8 or Sony Vegas...
