Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a mondeo diesel 05. While on a test drive I noticed that the outside temperature display was blank and the ice warning light (red snowflake) is on constant. It is a major job to fix this?
Also while doing a car check on it, it came up as silver in colour even though the colour is sort of a fawn colour. Should I run a mile?

Get the garage or whoever your buying the car from to fix the problem before you buy it. It shouldnt take them that long to replace a sensor or whatever is gone with it. Also get a mechanic to check car before buying. The mechanic will know the faults with the car immediately if there are any. It is well worth doing. Its a lesson I learned after I bought my first car.

If you are happy with the car overall then just insist on the problem being fixed as a condition of the sale.

Regarding colour, it is possible that the database that cartell get their information is incorrect. You should be able to verify the correct colour on the car's VLC.
